1) What am I buying?

You are buying a commercial license to use the selected image files within the scope of the license option you purchase.

You are not buying ownership or copyright of the image.

2) Who is the license for?

Each license is granted to one legal entity / one brand.

The license is not transferable. You may not sublicense, resell or redistribute the image files to another company, brand or third party.

3) What license options do you offer?

We offer two standard digital license options:

Web & Organic (Perpetual)
Paid Ads (12 months, worldwide)

Choose Web & Organic for websites, landing pages, blogs, newsletters and organic social media.

Choose Paid Ads if the image will be used in paid campaigns, sponsored posts, Meta/Instagram/Facebook ads, Google Ads or other paid digital advertising placements.

4) What does Web & Organic include?

Web & Organic includes:

Website pages and landing pages
Blog/editorial content
Newsletters and email marketing
Organic social media posts and stories

The license is perpetual for the permitted Web & Organic uses.

Paid advertising is not included.

5) What does Paid Ads include?

Paid Ads includes everything in Web & Organic, plus paid digital advertising for 12 months worldwide.

This includes use in:

Paid social media campaigns
Sponsored posts
Meta / Instagram / Facebook ads
Google Ads
Other paid digital advertising placements

Paid Ads also includes campaign-ready file versions for text overlays, vertical placements, square ads and landscape display-style campaign use.

Paid Ads use is valid for 12 months from purchase.

6) Can I renew Paid Ads usage?

Yes.

Paid Ads renewal for an additional 12 months is available at 50% of the original Paid Ads package price.

7) Are the licenses worldwide?

Yes.

Both Web & Organic and Paid Ads licenses are worldwide within the permitted usage scope.

8) What pack sizes do you offer?

Our ready-made products are 5-image campaign sets and 20-image brand libraries. Available products are shown in the collections and product pages.

9) What files do I receive?

All files are delivered as JPG, sRGB, ready to publish.

Web & Organic packs include, per image:

Paid Ads packs include everything in Web & Organic, plus:

DM = Delivery Master, high-resolution main delivery file
WEB = website / landing page / hero section version
IG = Instagram feed version
TXT = copy-space optimized version
RS = Reels / Story vertical format
SQ = square ad, feed or carousel format
AD = landscape campaign / display-style format

10) What is a TXT / copy-space version?

A TXT / copy-space version is a campaign-ready version prepared with cleaner negative space for headline, CTA or logo use.

It is designed to make the image easier to use in marketing layouts.

Copy-space versions are usually created through crop and layout optimization. If needed, only minimal adjustment is made to the text area so the image still feels natural and consistent with the original visual.

11) What are SQ and AD files?

SQ is a 1200×1200 square format for square ads, carousel cards, feed placements and similar campaign use.

AD is a 1200×628 landscape format for landscape campaign placements, display-style ads and similar paid digital use.

These are common campaign-ready digital image sizes. Final platform placement, cropping or approval may depend on your campaign setup and the platform used.

12) Can I crop or edit the image?

Yes, light edits for layout and publishing are allowed.

Allowed edits include:

Cropping
Resizing
Adding text
Adding logo
Adding CTA
Light color adjustments

The edits must stay within the purchased license scope and must not be misleading, illegal or harmful.

13) Can I use the image in paid ads with Web & Organic?

No.

Web & Organic does not include paid advertising, boosted posts or sponsored posts.

Choose Paid Ads if the image will be used in paid campaigns, boosted posts, sponsored social media, Meta/Instagram/Facebook ads, Google Ads or other paid digital advertising.

14) Can I use the image in print?

Not under the standard digital licenses.

Print, brochures, trade fair materials, out-of-home advertising and other physical distribution require a separate written extension or quote.

15) Can I use the image as a logo or trademark?

No.

The images may not be used in logos, trademarks or as a primary brand identifier.

16) Can I resell or redistribute the files?

No.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or make the image files available as stock, templates, free resources, marketplace assets or downloadable asset libraries.

17) Can I upload the images to stock platforms or photobanks?

No.

Uploading the images to stock platforms, photobanks, asset libraries or similar services is not allowed.

18) Can I use the image on products for sale?

Not under the standard digital licenses.

Use on merchandise, posters, prints, physical products or products for resale requires a separate written extension.

19) Can I use the images for AI training or datasets?

No.

You may not use the images to train AI models, build datasets or support machine learning systems.

20) Can my agency, designer or freelancer use the files?

Yes, but only to work on your behalf for the licensed brand or project.

They receive no independent rights and may not reuse, resell, redistribute or transfer the files.

21) How fast is delivery?

Digital delivery is immediate after successful payment, via the order status page and email notification.

If you have trouble accessing your files, contact us with your order number.

22) Do I receive a physical product?

No.

All Nordic WildFrames products are delivered digitally as JPG image files. No physical product will be shipped.

23) Do you offer refunds?

Because our products are digital image license packages, purchases are generally non-refundable once the files have been delivered or made available for download, where permitted by applicable law.

Refunds may be considered if:

The wrong files were delivered
The download link does not work and we cannot resolve the issue
A duplicate order was placed by mistake
A clear technical delivery error occurred

24) Are the images AI-generated?

Yes.

Nordic WildFrames visuals are AI-generated or AI-assisted, then curated and prepared for commercial marketing use.

We include AI disclosure guidance with deliveries where applicable. Customers are responsible for following the disclosure and labeling rules of the platforms where they publish.

25) Do you offer exclusivity?

Exclusivity is not included in the standard licenses.

Exclusive use may be available by separate quote based on image count, industry, duration, territory and usage scope.

26) Do you offer custom visual direction?

Yes, by quote.

Custom projects can include campaign-specific image sets, special crops, broader usage rights, print or OOH use, exclusivity or a tailored Nordic nature visual direction for your brand.

28) I'm an EU business with a valid VAT number — can I buy without VAT (reverse charge)?

Yes. For EU B2B sales with a valid VAT number, we apply the reverse-charge mechanism (0% VAT — you account for VAT in your own country). To purchase this way, email us at licensing@nordicwildframes.com with your company details and VAT number before checkout, and we'll issue a reverse-charge invoice. Direct checkout currently applies Finnish VAT, so contact us first if you'd like the reverse-charge option.
